Introduction to SQL
Learn SQL Foundations
The course Introduction to SQL is designed to give students a sodid fondation of SQL query language and to acquire practical skills to query databases. The course covers SQL commands for DML (Data Manipulation Language) operations such as SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, table joins, operators, single row and agregate functions.
The course deals with generic ANSI SQL language and all the queries can be used in any
database server, including Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL and any other relational databases.
Full course notes are provided along with sample database files. At the beginning of the training you will be given instructions on how to install Oracle XE 11g and the sample database. A link to the video recording of the lecturer’s screen will be sent to you after each session.
